Fairfax Academy, Erdington Academy and Smith’s Wood Academy have today launched their brand‑new websites, completing the trust‑wide rollout of redesigned school sites across Fairfax Multi‑Academy Trust.
The three launches follow the introduction of Bournville All‑Through School’s new website in February and mark a key milestone in the project, which brings greater accessibility, clarity and consistency to the trust’s online platforms.
Built around a shared trust template, the new sites offer streamlined navigation, improved readability and mobile‑first layouts, helping parents and carers find key information more quickly. The design also embeds SEND‑friendly principles, with clear structure, accessible formats and straightforward routes to statutory information, curriculum content and safeguarding guidance.
Simon Jones, Chief Executive Officer of Fairfax Multi‑Academy Trust, said: “This has been a major undertaking, and I want to extend my sincere thanks to all staff who have contributed.
“Colleagues’ hard work has helped deliver bold, high‑quality websites to match the energy and achievements taking place in our academies. These sites will help us share and celebrate the excellent work happening in our schools.”
The project has been delivered in partnership with web developers Happy Giraffe.

The next major focus will be the redesign of the central FMAT website, which will adopt the same principles of accessibility, clarity and consistency that have shaped the school‑site project. This final phase will mark the end of a significant programme of work to strengthen how families, partners and stakeholders access information online.
